Wheels of Time Car Club Cruise Night, 4:30 p.m. to dusk, Zorba’s Coney Island, 26582 Telegraph Road, Flat Rock.

Music, 50-50 drawing, dollar draw, gas card giveaway. All cars and motorcycles welcome.

City of Southgate Classic Car Nights, 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. in June and July, Southgate Shopping Center, Eureka at Trenton roads.

Cruise Nights, 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. on the second and fourth Wednesdays of the month through August at Walter P. Chrysler Museum, 1 Chrysler Drive, Auburn Hills.

Each night will have a different theme. There also will be music, food, a “best of” trophy presented at 7:15 p.m. and reduced admission fees for self-guided tours of the museum. The special exhibition is “70 Years of Jeep,” with admission $2 for adults, $1 for ages 6 to 12 and free for ages 5 and younger.

Allen Park Downtown Development Authority Car Show, 5:30 to 9 p.m. June 22 on Allen Road, between White and Roosevelt avenues.

For cars from 1980 and older. Free registration. Dash plaques to the first 200 participants.

Event features music in the pocket park, refreshments, dancing, door prizes and trophies.

Cruisin’ Downriver Kickoff Car Show, 4 to 7 p.m. June 23 at Chase bank, 3200 Biddle Ave. at Eureka Road, Wyandotte.

Sponsored by the Southern Wayne County Regional Chamber, The News-Herald Newspapers, WOMC-FM (104.3) and the city of Wyandotte. All four will present trophies.

The entry fee is $20 and is limited to 200 vehicles. It includes a 2011 Cruisin’ Downriver T-shirt and a dash plaque.

Food will be available for purchase.

Cruisin’ Downriver, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. June 25 along Fort Street, between Outer Drive in Lincoln Park and Sibley Road in Riverview.

Entry is free.

The cruise will begin with an emergency vehicle parade and the annual mayors’ opening drive.

Sponsored by the Southern Wayne County Regional Chamber and The News-Herald Newspapers.

Note: Construction along Fort Street will start after the cruise.

Entry fee is two nonperishable food items.

Hemophilia Foundation of Michigan Car Show, hosted by the Downriver Wanderers Classic Car Club, noon to 4 p.m. July 9 at Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill & Bar, 23200 Allen Road, Woodhaven.

Registration starts at 11 a.m.; the fee is $10 per vehicle.

There will be music, door prizes, awards and a bottle drive. Applebee’s will donate 15 percent of diners’ bills that day (excluding alcohol) to the foundation.

Toys For Tots Charity Car Show, July 16 at Gibraltar Trade Center, 15525 Racho Road, Taylor. Registration starts at 8 a.m., judging runs from 8 to 11 a.m. and awards will be presented at 3:30 p.m.

The fee is $2 per vehicle; toys can be dropped off.

There will be a swap space and used car sales area; burnout, muffler rapping and flame-throwing contests; an evening party and sport compact show; children’s games; 150 dash plaques; food; and entertainment.

Gibraltar Beautification and Recreation commissions’ Car Show, 2 to 4 p.m. July 17 at the Gil Talbert Community Center, 29340 S. Gibraltar Road.

The Arizona Sons band will perform. There will be refreshments.

Bridgewater by Del Webb Charity Classic Car Show, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. July 24, 24303 Bridgewater Court, Brownstown Township.

Registration begins at 9 a.m. The entry fee is $5.

Dash plaques to the first 100 registered cars, trophies, disc jockey, 50-50 raffles, bake sale, basket raffles. Two free lunch tickets for all who register a car for the show. Lunch includes hot dogs, chili dogs, chips and beverages.

Thirteenth annual Charity Car Show, hosted by the Order of DeMolay-C.C. Reeves Chapter, 5 to 9 p.m. July 27 at the Lincoln Park Community Center, 3525 Dix-Toledo. Aug. 2 is the rain date.

The entry fee is $12, with proceeds donated to the Shriners Hospital for Children transportation fund.

Dash plaques to the first 75 registered cars. Trophies to be awarded, and drivers will receive door prizes. Food and beverages will be available for purchase from the chapter’s parents’ club. There also will be music and family activities.

City of Southgate Car Show, July 31.

Roam’n Chariots Benefit Cruise & Car Show, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Aug. 6 at Thorn Park, 21313 Telegraph Road, Brownstown Township. It’s a benefit for Kaleidoscope Kids of Henry Ford Hospice.

All makes, models and years welcome. Motorcycles welcome. Trophies, door prizes, raffles, 50-50 drawings, horseshoe tournament, games, trivia, food.

There will be dash plaques for the first 150 to register.

The registration fee is $8 before Aug. 1 and $10 between 10 a.m. and noon at the show. Register in advance at the Roam’n Chariots’ weekly Friday show at Sears in Lincoln Park.

lEstral Beach Volunteer Fireman’s Car Show, noon to 4 p.m. Aug. 13 at the fire station, 7194 Lakeview Blvd. Hosted by the Downriver Wanderers Classic Car Club.

Registration starts at 11 a.m. The $10 fee benefits the Fire Department. Food, music, door prizes, awards.

Great Lakes Classic AMC Club’s Motor City All-Family American Motors Meet, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Aug. 21 at Greenmead Historical Park, 20501 Newburgh Road, Livonia.

Entry fees range from $5 to $24; spectator entry fee is $5 (free for ages 11 and under). “American dream” poster and coin for first 50 vehicles entered.

Event includes car show, swap meet, historical displays, trophies, dash plaques and door prizes.
