Crusin' Downriver is brought to you by

The 15th annual Cruisin' Downriver will begin at 10 a.m. June 28, 2014 and cruise through the cities of Lincoln Park, Southgate, Wyandotte, and Riverview.

More than 300,000 car buffs and enthusiasts are expected to line Fort Street in hope of getting a sneak peek at their dream car.

The course also will begin and end in Riverview this summer, unlike previous years, when cars began the journey down Fort in Lincoln Park. Traffic will begin at 10 a.m. at Fort, just north of Sibley Road, and the dedicated turnaround street is Warwick, just north of Southfield, in Lincoln Park.

There is no registration fee for the cruise itself.

Preferred access to the cruise route is Southfield Freeway, but other access will be permitted.

Each city on the route will enforce a strict code of conduct to ensure public safety; speeding, drag racing, hole shots or laying rubber will not be tolerated.

Violators will be ticketed and removed from the cruise.

Unless otherwise marked, the two curb lanes of northbound and southbound Fort Street will be designated for the cruise.

Since Fort Street will remain open for other traffic, the traffic signals will remain operational and must be observed by all.
